A Bit About Me

A bit about me

Having completed my secondary studies in Cairns, I achieved a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Accounting and Economics from the University of Southern Queensland.

Since then:

  • I’ve managed 400 fly-in fly-out workers into PNG for Placer Pacific Mines.
  • I’ve managed all the North Queensland retail operations of a major Japanese tourism venture.
  • I’ve managed the entire property portfolio of Cairns International Airport.
  • I’ve chaired or sat on several boards, and I’m currently on the board of Trinity Anglican School in Cairns.

My whole working life has been spent managing and improving organisations.  However, the roles I have really loved involved managing one of North Queensland’s leading commercial and litigation law firms; establishing and managing The 20/20 Group Australia,  chairing the board and guiding the growth of Worklink, a large disability employment service; and more recently setting up Queensland’s largest specialist employment law practice outside of Brisbane.

With 20 years’ experience in managing and consulting to all types of businesses, I have learned my real passion and expertise lies in assisting professional service firms and not-for- profit organisations. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing a business achieve sustainable growth, profitability, and a great reputation in the community.
